Ilewa Bénin

How SeedScaleUp designed and launched Ilewa Benin's new digital experience in less than two weeks

<14days from brief to launch

Context

Ilewa is a Beninese company developing healthier, more economical and more environmentally conscious products for women and babies — reusable menstrual products, washable baby diapers and other eco-friendly textiles. The brand had a story worth telling, products worth showcasing and a mission worth understanding — the challenge was turning all of that into one coherent digital experience.

Client objectives

Do more than simply exist online: communicate Ilewa's story and mission, clearly present its products, build trust through testimonials and partnerships, educate visitors through content, create an easy path to contact — particularly WhatsApp — and stay easy for the internal team to maintain, without overwhelming the visitor.

Our strategy

Treat the website as a digital product rather than a stack of pages, structured around a simple journey: Discover → Understand → Explore → Trust → Contact. A strong homepage, a dedicated space for the brand's story and mission, a structured product presentation, trust signals (testimonials, partners, FAQ), and a direct path to WhatsApp.

Our intervention

UX/UI design, development and content architecture across the full site: brand and story space, product presentation, visual gallery, blog/editorial system, testimonials, partners, FAQ, social media integration and a dedicated conversion path to the WhatsApp catalogue — paired with hands-on training so the Ilewa team can manage the CMS independently. From brief to launch: under two weeks.

Deliverables

  • Full website: brand, products, blog, testimonials, FAQ
  • Editorial CMS system with client-team training
  • Dedicated conversion path to the WhatsApp catalogue
  • Responsive, mobile-first UX/UI design

Value created

A website that works as a brand platform, product showcase, trust engine and conversion channel at once — delivered in under two weeks and left fully in the Ilewa team's hands to run going forward.
